Claim types
- Verified fact: Supported by a linked primary or reputable secondary source.
- Editorial judgment: Analysis of fit, value, or comparison. Not a field test.
- Unverified: Plausible but not confirmed. Treat as ask the vendor.
- Third-party contractor comment: Paraphrase or short quote from a public review, forum, or vendor page, with URL and dates. Not a LoadCalcStack field test.
Pricing rules
- Publish dollar amounts only from vendor pages (or clearly labeled primary docs) with a retrieval date
- When a vendor does not publish a dollar amount, say pricing is on request and treat the price as not confirmed — do not invent forum quotes as list price
- Link ACCA approved software as authority for approval status
What we do not do
- Claim hands-on testing unless we have actually performed it
- Accept payment for rankings or placement
- Invent credentials, testimonials, or star averages
- Add tracking parameters or commission links to vendor URLs
- Brand the product as Manual J (ACCA trademark) — we brand as LoadCalcStack / load-calc
